Rites of Passage

In some cultures, there are elaborate Rites of Passage that kids go through to enter a new stage in their growing up or to enter adulthood. Some are horrible, some are wonderful and some can pass you by unless you're paying attention. M had a Rite of Passage this summer...

  1. Ahh, isn't that true in our society? Mowing the lawn. A true rite of passage! Congrats to M! Unfortunately for my 3 kids (2 of whom are boys) I love to mow the lawn and am pretty selfish about it...could sweeping the floor or folding a load of laundry stand in for mowing?? Hmmm....
